A&K SR-25 help...

Alright so I want to get an sr-25 sniper by a&k I read a review and it says it shoots about 460 fps and then the website says 350 either way I won't get it soon. Probably around christmas time. It's full auto capable but in real steel history it shoots as a sniper. I was wondering if I have to mod the selector plate and make it semi only capable and add a tightbore so I can use it. That's not all the stuff I would like to do with it but it makes it an accurate replica of the real thing. Do I have to do that? Thanks here's a link to the gun. First off don't buy from airsplat iv never had good luck with theme so try like gi/airsoft Atlanta/ trinity airsoft/ evike and better well know web sites but never airsplat

They have one? that's even better I can bring a fully charged battery and use it the first time I get it. Also I have always had good customer service from airsoft. All the people in my community has.

First off stear clear of A&K there make some pretty crappy stuff if you dont upgrade it go with like G&G or ares

Yes Nos, A & K does make some pretty guns; their internals leave a lot to be desired.

the reason i like this particular gun is because it uses v-2 internals so your options for upgrade is limitless. with proper shimming, m130 spring and high voltage battery this gun will make a good dmr.

Thanks CDR I will check it out. I can already tell I won't be getting it. I will get a metal gear box jg surprisingly it's actually full metal including the outside. I have a jg and it broke easily but it's also probably because it's over 3 or 4 years old and I got it used. I will use this one with caution... link to the one. its actually the exact same gun except the stock and the suppressor. at the end of the day it is your choice. to answer your previous question, yes you will have to mod ur gun to semi only if your fps is over 400.

Then I will get the stock and suppressor it's more items and cheaper.
