Work Day at wilcox August 28th

Hey Guys,

We are in the process of planning a work day at wilcox, anybody and everybody who wants to show up to assist in building of the village, and some of the other projects for Wilcox field.

The following will be needed, tools, ladders, hammers, drills saws, generators, extension cords and such. If anybody owns an bush hog, please advice us if you can bring out to the field. Also we are planning going up to Pensacola Salvage lumber to get building materal for the village , 4X4's, 2X4's, Fence pickets, plywood, Tin, and other lumber needed. then were going out the field to start building about three more buildings, along with construction the machine gun nest, Were also going to do some painting of these buildings if your just wanting to buy cheap outside paint and rollers , this will be great.

Remember for anybody who shows up to the field for an work day will get a free day of shooting the next time we play.

I would love to come out and Help!! I dont have much money at the moment, so i dont think id be able to pay for anything.

Ill be there i got 2 cans of camo spray paint and ill bring hammers and nails for workers who cant

i've got the genny , working on getting bush hog up and running

I should be able to make this. I get off work that morning so might be alittle late. I've got a generator, ladders, saws, drills, and other tools. Lemme know and I'll see if I got it.

If something happens and you cant bring yours my dad has one and we could bring ours let me know if you cant also i had a idea for a bunker that i would make ahead of time you mind if i make it here and throw it in the back of my dads truck and bring it to you guys?

That should be okay, I mean we do have to make an run to the lumber yard to pick up materals

Did you find a trailer? I've got a single axle 6x10 if you need it.

that would be a help , i have a small 5x8 and looking at a bigger one

I do not have an trailor line up, Chances are we will have to use Allout's or your to carry the lumber.

Just keep your spray cans for small projects, we're needing paint by the 5 gallon pails, but thank you for offering, and your more then welcome to come out and help us.

Oh and ill try to bring out a generator i have one just siting in my garage so thats going to be nice and is there any like small rivers and or creeks near wilcox?

This is the following list of lumber for Village, it will bring the Village up to 5 buildings
First building will be 8X12, the other two buildings will 8X8 1/2

16 T-11 plywood
16 4X4X8
30 2X4X8
10 2X4X12
90 1X6X6 Fence pickets

Hardware
10 pds of screws
10 pds of nails
20 hinges for windows

now far as the color goes should be brown, black, green , kept in mind cheap like big lots/walmart

After Allout and me talk last night, we believe the start time will be 10 am, if anybody wanting to pick up lumber ans such we will be meeting at Pensacola Salvage Lumber in Summerdale, and we can load up anything you willing to purchase for the field in allout trailer.

Will advise if this changes,

Allright this weekend ill be pushing to buy some paint and "fingers crossed" get my dads generator outa the garage so cant wait to help make this field awesome!! and howie you mind if i bring some water for every one ill just get a big thing of bottled water if thats ok?

if there will b a generator i can bring my sawzall skill saw jigsaw and a compressor if any one has a nailgun but i got hammers measuring tape level speedsquare and a handsaw so i was just wonderin what to bring i think my dewalt drill burnt up the motor gotta charge batteries to make sure tho

Howie and Allout---I am going to bring more wood from work and it will require a trailer since I am going to have other stuff on the back of my truck. Howie-I don't know if this is the kind of wood you want or not? Will the field be open before the trip to Summerdale so I can run out there and drop that load then meet at the lumber yard? How many generators do we have lined up so far? Mine has a stuck fuel valve and will need to go to the shop before I can bring it out. If we don't have enough then I will rush it in to get it fixed.

i'll have mine for sure , we can meet at the field first then head to get the lumber

I will bring the wood this weekend and we can stack it with the other, that way I can bring the trailer straight to summerdale on the 28th without hitting the field first.Going to bring a grill out there for lunch(bringing hot dogs and buns) on the 28th so if anyone doesn't like hot dogs bring what you want and cook it.

Any and all wood is good, Maybe we can use it at the village or the NEw dirt base

Cant wait to make our field better!! I had a idea for a few easy bunkers there ill talk to you guys about them this week

What kind of lumber are you bringing to the field, Just wanting to know so I can plan into the building scene this weekend. Now since I am thinking about it we may need to shore up the Outpost if needed, I am sure the old helicopter lumber can go there or over to the far back dirt base, so we can start making the upper deck as BIG D was wantng to do, butnever got around to it.
