LOL!!! thats how most people seem to be with me. The people I have played with just dont get the concept of realy being a sniper. They want to move fast here and there, and kill as fast as posible. Yea its fun and all, But I'm starting to get older and hurts bad the next day if I do all that running around. I love killing folks, and them not knowing where its comeing from. LOL makes me laugh everytime they look around for the shooter the whole time they are walking off the feild. LOL!

I'm too big for a ghillie suit, I'm afraid of bugs, I'm allergic to the outdoors, my pistol only shoots 20 feet (and that whichever way the wind blows), and my goggles are always foggy.

i dissagree with optics rule. if some wants to put an expensive cumbersome scope on thier gun fine. it doesn't make it shoot better. much like if someone wants to use a co2 regulator thats fine, it shows that they are into what they are doing.

The description mentions that the spotters will be shooting but its kind of vague, just cuz I'm curious and I'm potentially gonna be a spotter in this thing what all will there be for the spotters to do exactly?

You dont have t have a ghillie suit. Most of the time I dont wear one. The ghillie is just another tool to the sniper. It isnt an item you have to use. It is mainly used for open spaces and close quarters. But its just fun to wear sometimes and make people have to look even harder for you. LOL I do have 2 ghillie suits. 1 that I use and an extra for anyone wanting to be a spotter for me in the event. Please PM me if you would like to be a spotter for me.Che Chuy wrote:I'm too big for a ghillie suit, I'm afraid of bugs, I'm allergic to the outdoors, my pistol only shoots 20 feet (and that whichever way the wind blows), and my goggles are always foggy.

I'm OPFOR on this one - counter sniper terrorist. Maybe I'm a VIP. Maybe I'm just a tree. You'll never know.
Just remember, Mohamed would not go to the mountain, so I went to him.

I should totally bring my Savage 10FCP-K .308 win... It's completely modded out to hell and back, OR I could bring the big 50. Aka, my father in laws Barrett M99. He helped produce it, hehe! He works for blackwater. I wish we could bring actual weapons to show to airsofters, and last time I was at the field I saw some targets. Maybe we could shoot them from couple hundred yards!

Re: Longshot Team Sniper Competition, March 19th & 20th, 2011
Yeah, the Barrett M99 has hella recoil and the muzzle flash and noise coming out the side are ungodly. We went to pascagoula to shoot 1000yrds, and people had to move from the shooting platforms on either side of us because of the concussion I wonder if I could bring a couple of our weapons though...

this is not a real steel day , real steel is invite only do to legal issues , on another note we may have to move the date back to the start of march , post up if this would be ok , just trying to work it all out

Re: Longshot Team Sniper Competition, March 19th & 20th, 2011
It is private land, and anything like bringing live weapons to the field would be at the discretion of the landowner.
That being said: I believe it a bad idea to mix real steel with replica weapons. Not because we would mistake one for the other, but that 'outsiders' may mistake us and/or our intentions.
I mean, you don't want to confuse Waco and Wilcox

Lol, I hear ya. It would be pretty cool, but for the legality reasons I completely understand. Poor guns They'll just have to be brought out to the range more. Btw, I wish we could organize some form of a range day where anyone who has RS weapons who play with us at wilcox should go to the range for some manly (not homo) bonding time, and a nice shooting competition

I believe that pistols might be taken care of in the sniper comp as the spotter has to do something besides sit there and say 'good job, Snipe-ee'.
