i made a few ammonium nitrate smoke grenades and they work rather well. they are ignited with a pull pin like a standard smoke grenade. do we allow them at wilcox?

its rather ironic that nades are brought up.I lived in vegas and they sold military grade smoke n such but you couldnt use them there due to fires .I was like arty simulaters kool...but no-go in vegas Awwwww

we have to see what the field conditions are on the day , if any pyro can be used

i ;made it to where the flame actually occurs inside the grenade so fire is not possible outside the canister to catch fire. the flame is fast on a fuse of match heads.

Definitely. And if they work (for the field, not your skill) I know someone who would love to partake of a sampling of any that my be available for perusal and possibly purchase.

remember its still simulation I use to beable to get military grade for along time but again I wouldnt want to see anyone get hurt or damage property

my grenades are green. and once the flame is gone from the initial ignition it chemically burns. its non-toxic unless you sit in front of it and huff the shit out of it. after the burn its basically rubber container you can pick up filled with black ashes. ive been testing them out and theyre great.

Not random - talked about huffing and that guy has been arrested a few times for it.

I know it's not thye same a chucking them to a position but: at some fields i used to play at the rule was to either have them on stake a few feet off the ground or drop them into a bucket. i know the cold burning smokes your talking about and i saw a batch of deffective ones.
it realy ruins the sim when you hear "Cease fire! Fire! cease Fire! the ground is burning" and you drop your gear to stamp out a fire.
if they're useable i'd love to see if we can incorpirate them into a game

One could always have a non- combatant place the pyro - it's been done before.

We need smoke-especially at the village. I think we should go with the bucket thing. I love Smoke!
