Second view from the side of completed system.

Now I need to mount system for the mortar/ cannon. As this system will only fire the Nerf rockets showned in the picture.

Well done, looks pretty solid. You'll have to tell us how is shoots once you have everything sealed up and mounted.

The Cannon attach to the Trailor , As Allout, Chey Chu and myself decided to make a mini cannon instead of a Mortar.

make sure to hang an orange flag on it while towing...

also. Im not sure how much it weighs but I know an empty trailer will bounce around so much you can't really tow them on the interstate.

The Nerf Rockets can be found at Kmart or amazon, your choose., No it will not be haul by my truck down the interstate, it was place there so I may look at it and see what was needed next. Now Far as using it on People, I believe it will have special rules set for it, But no shooting at people. It will be primary used against building and vehicles and such, Now if people are inside these Buildings and vehicles it should be deem as D.O.A, These rules will be placed as soon as a field Demo is Completed, So Allout can make last judgement calls on this Mini Cannon.

Thanks Allout, it was fun talking with Chey Chu and you during the making of the mini Cannon

if this will be implemented then you should build two. I mean, if it can take out an entire building (with people in it) that seems a little one sided. also... how will said people know the building was hit?

Im not really worried about it myself but I can see complaints coming...

EDIT - i didn't even see the new pics. one more question... how will you make angle adjustments? or are you just going to vary the air pressure to get the wanted distance? an easy way would be to make the handle (that is on the ground) height adjustable. if you shortened it the cannon would increase angle and vise averse. Ideally you'd want (i would think) between 45° and 80°. but thats just my 2¢.

it looks really sweet with the shield on it bounce

No rules has been set up for the cannon, next step is give a field demo, to ensure it's safe for players, safe for play.

My only concern is I thought home made weapons weren't allowed on the field? I'm just following the rules like I was told to do so.

Yes you are correct no homemade weapons on the field, For this weapon was never design to be shoot at people, it was design to be shoot at hard targets such as trucks, vans, airplanes, and various Buildings. I will give you a exsample of use to help clear up what I am thinking of for use.

Exsample,

Your team is attacking the village, your having high resistance from one building or maybe two building with each building have a one to two defenders within the building, So you squad decide to use the cannon to destroy the building and people within. So you load up your cannon and aim toward the suspected building and fire the rocket toward that building, if the rocket hits the building and admin see that you in fact hit the building the building is destroy and the defenders inside would have to go respawn, and the building would be MARKED out of play for that game."

Only nerf Rockets will be fired from this cannon, no B.B.'s, No Grenades, if its not a 2 inch Nerf rocket then don't fire it with the cannon.Very Happy

Now this cannon will not be used in any games untill it has been approve by the Admins as Safe , When I say Field Demo, I refer to testing on the field to ensure it can be used during the game, No that I build itm doesn't mean we are going to use in the game without any testing. Once its been approve and the rules are set for it, then it made be used on the field during game days.Very Happy

I think its a cool idea putting artillery in the game plus if the building your in gets hit I think you would be able to hear the impact lol also can be used in ops like "objective kill the mortar team" and stuff like that

Hey howie now with the cannon able to take out buildings during the game, would joey's flamethrower follow the same rules and used to take out bunkers and buidings for that's the job of the real ones.

how ever some shots are not within meds so , when that happens players get hurt and we are not going to let that happen . with an aeg or gas gun it sucks but with the this it can shoot out a lot more bbs then any other thing on the field so we have to watch player safety first

I have seen regulated home made mortars at a distance of 100ft break bones with the nerf footballs. My simple point is rules clearly state no home made weapons, howie posted earlier when I mentioned it in his response they aren't than gave an example why this maybe allowed. To me that contradicts that rule. As for joes flamethrower its intended for taking out buildings same theory behind the mortar. Unless this is coming down to allowing one to another than to me that isn't a safety issue nut a favoritism/attack on a certain individual. Howie my apologies for thread jacking.
