Attack and Defend with an objective
What about a twist on the attack/defend of the village? How about introducing a hostage in to the equation. The attacking force numbers are 1/2 of the defending force but have an objective. One or two hostages that are held in the village with the ability to escape if the opportunity presents is present. If the hostages are shot while trying to escape then the attacking force loses. Hostages successfully escape then attackers win. If the hostages are executed then the defending force losses and if they are shot by attacking forces during the rescue then the attacking force losses. One respawn for defenders north of village and no respawns for attackers. Hostages will comply with defenders while they are within normal voice range.Hostages cannot be held in a building that has more than two different facing walls. MED's on weapons that are greater than 350fps must be adhered to, but no bangs allowed.

That is a great idea, but with no respawns, the attackers will very carefully wait for someone to make a mistake before committing anything at all. Ultimately it will bog down and the attackers will most likely lose. Even if you add a time limit, they'll wait for the best moment and then end up not being able to get through the covering fire.
Having a hostage or 6 is fine, but think of the Pilot Rescue and how long it took that one time to just to get to Ceaser, in that pile of pallets at some other place that I caught on video.
Now make it a dusk game, with a generator and fixed lights, (or a bucket of flares), a few more respawns, and a handful of strobe lights, then you have an interesting idea. Or a Rave.

Then we can throw a time limit on it to help move the battle along and add respawns to the attackers. The attackers have tha advantage of concealment and cover plus the hostages can escape if the attackers can distract thier guards. We could throw a 30 minute time limit and make the action extremely fast just like it should be.

another twist that's fun. alot like the hostage but reversed is: have a timer "bomb" in the base. the attackers have to get the Sapper/ EOD into the base unharmed and defuse the bomb before it blows up.

Re: Attack and Defend with an objective
I'm working on a 'dirty bomb' objective that can be used - so this could be a fun idea.
