Real World Ammo Limit's

A challenge of All games, To put too test your Trigger Finger and mind set. Having an game based on actual amount of ammo carry onto the battle field, Exsample if too carry an M-4 variant then your max load out is 210 rounds,( 7 30 round mags, 21/2 80 round mags, or one high cap, yes you would have to borrow somebody's speed loader.) With the NO Respawn Rule, we could do it where your wounded to make more of a challenge, were if you got hit the medic must get to you apply an bandage to your rifle, and you must continue with only a pistol.

This could be done with any scenerio's or games we play!

I do have AEG mags that will get you within the 210 round range for M-4's

how about where ever you get hit, you can no longer use that limb. headshots = death, torso shots = ?, shoulder hits = adjacent limb, hips same. gun hits = going to pistol only.

We could run with that, Not real fond of the Headshots, really does not promote safety of airsoft. but that just my thoughts,

even with the gbbr , i still like low caps , we could run 30 rounds in mid cap mags for you electric power hungry guys

Well you know, it s more just aim, point and squeeze until the last high cap is empty, It's just taking it to the point where you have to choose where your limited amount of rounds is being placed,so in the back of your mind you have to remember not to aim and prey that your going to hit somebody with 1 of 300 rounds you just place toward the other opponet. And those firefights that guys get into will make players choose when to break away or sta in the fight. So taking out the unlimited amount of ammo out of the picture, It was never meet to assist the GBBR guys, Hell we all could go to AEG during this game type. The only plus is that the load out with GBBR looks more accurate , doesn't mean we're going to hit our targets, it's anybody game.

did not mean we should intentionally aim for the head, just that when it does happen it would equal an immediate kill.

well if that is all a player gives , then thats seals the deal. I just wanted point out taking head shots, che Chuy knows what I am talking about, he taken 12 head shots in one game. I rather try not to promote head shots,

12 shots to the head, and none to the body, in one hour.

But you guys can play what you want this weekend. I'm painting the village.

I like it but a 1:1 ratio on ammo may be tough with the inaccuracy of the guns.

Pick your target wisely! If your engage in firefight, and you can't get the other guy, Move and flank him! Or Find a Last stand and let them come to you, just make sure you have the upper hand ( high ground, Defendable location, etc.). It's about the control of your trigger Finger and the Mind Set to out think the other guy, Also you'll have judge your distance to the target, If your gun only reaches out too 150 feet, but the guy is at 180 feet, You'll have to move, to get the better shot! Also you may have too spend three rounds on your target before he feels it. so using 210 rounds is roughly 70 guys you can engage using three rounds per person.

Exsample:
one of the games we play show It could be done, After a pretty good firefight we gather at the respawn point Norkot and Sin went to the old dirt base, Allout and me went into some well cover Brush, rest of our team Unknown, When Allout and me got into the Brush, we taken out 5 guys while in the specific brush, Between Allout and me using Mid caps we came out with Allout with 2 1/2 mags ( not sure how many Allout had) and Myself 1 1/2 mags ( 7 mags)

I am starting to really like this idea. Just think how quietly everyone would be moving, how much lighter the chest rig would be, and how terrible a marksman I am. Joy! Let's play. Only Mid-Caps!

I am down for this 30 rds a mag is awesome especially when the guys that usually have 10 high caps have to realize they only have a tenth of the ammo jus an awesome idea! it would make ppl realize they better flick to semi haha

Camping, well we can fix that , we could do an game at the village, with maybe an time limit.

this keeps getting better and better. Howie, 210 rnds for M4, AK, G36/39 primary weapon; how many for say shotguns, pistols, and snipers?

Lets do a full field exercise. Five man teams-one hour time limit- one medic per team can provide one respawn per each player- teams that take and hold a base at the end of the hour win. They get resupplyed with ammo to bring them back to 210 rounds, no more than 210 rounds- then compete in a team deathmatch- roving patrols only, no occupying a base. The teams must cache their resupply ammo before game starts so an admin can resupply them. Losing teams go to village for attack and defend games.

I been looking for info for What an standard load out would be, All I ever found was the Load out for M-4's and M-14. One the Normal Rifleman wasn't issue an side arm, only the Medics, LT, Sgts and Support gunners . So this would be modify.

I would say 210 rounds for M-4,M-14,G39c,Ak47, MP5
I would say 70 rounds for Sniper Rifles ( going back to the three rounds per target which gives you 210 rounds, but with an sniper, he only going to shot at what he see's in the scope, so he should be able use his rounds.)

Pistols, 4 magazines at MAX.

Shotguns, I would say 10-15 rounds, that would be five in the tube, four in the sling, and 6 in your vest.


I don't see an problem with that Cliff, It would actually make people work together little better, five guys, one is medic, having to choose your targets wisely due to limited ammo for an whole hour. like it alot!

Howie this sounds great and all but what would i do for my 249?

Hmmm, I would say 500 rounds Max. Which would leave enough to feed

bad idea.....bb's have none of the penetrative power of actual rounds.....they've tried this several times just about everywhere in airsoft in the time i've been playing, with pretty poor results....

I believe as GBBR's gets more popular in the area, We will be able to have these types of games, I know down in South flordia they are having GBBR only games. I know this would never happen in this area due to the trusty AEG. Hopefully as more people starts running with GBBR's we can have these games since the Magazines are already restricted 30-50 rounds depending on what model of GBBR they have.
