Re: Operation: Return Fire
I found that the Pea Grenades and Smoke are pretty safe, but still working with these, as long as you hold the smoke grenade until smoke emits out, I was only able to try one of these bad boys, now the Pull string look alike pinapple greandes does in fact emits some small flame like and extreme caution should be used.

Re: Operation: Return Fire
Now Digital Desert Camo For US side, The Choc. Chip Camo is reserve for United Nations, So with the Tri color I would say it's for US

Re: Operation: Return Fire
I'd rather not:
My reasoning is that current military issue (ABU, ACU, USMC Marpat and Marpat desert) be the US forces, but I got multiple complaints about camouflage being not readily discernible. This is why Marpat is (in my opinion, sadly) now on the S.U. side. Tri color is desert themed, and I thought would fall under the UN team's jurisdiction. But I'm sure by the time we get to August, it will be tan vs. green, like it always is.
Edited: And thus Howie has spoken.
Let's drop the UN team altogether and add chocolate chip to the US side.

Re: Operation: Return Fire
I believe having to many groups is going to be an shooting nightmare, when we had Scenerio Lights Out with three different groups involved the Merc's Were being Shoot up and out through that hole event. Because everybody didn't trust the mercs so that pretty much left them KIA, The guys who remembers the game will know, So now that's been let out of the bag, imagine what would happen to the U.N. peace keepers,
Plus got to give am little bit because some guys are not going out to buy uniforms for the event, they are just going use what they have.

Re: Operation: Return Fire
Now that they are gone, the point of the UN team was to provide intel, give missions, and keep the game moving. If necessary they could answer rule questions but not be a 'judge' or arbiter of any game disputes. In other words, players that know the story (but not enough to throw off the game) to keep things flowing.
But whatever.

The UN team will be hard to fill and add confusion, I'll let it be your call to keep UN or delete UN

I'm 14, and somewhere it says a parent has to be,"playing" along side. The thing is, my parents don't exactly,"play" airsoft. Can my parents at least just be there?

Re: Operation: Return Fire
To my knowledge, yes. This may be corrected by a Field Administrator.
The rules are meant that we're not supposed to be a day care center IN THAT we can't be responsible for ya, someone (parent/guardian) has to make those calls, if anything were to happen. I know, that implies you're a kid and yer not, but the legal parameters are what we are concerned with, not your maturity (or in IRS's case, lack thereof).

Re: Operation: Return Fire
Gentlemen, I put up a notice regarding this event over on our (TBJ) forums, just in case someone from Georgia would like to make the long drive to the Robertsdale, AL area. I'd not heard of this event prior to today, which means you guys probably are not getting the word out outside of the local area.

Re: Operation: Return Fire
Correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding this game is essentially a series of pick-up games? From my reading that's what it seems like with a break occurring every so many hours during play, as well as stops during the night to rest. It's your prerogative to charge what you want, but seeing the price of the game and the price of gas these days, I'm just trying to see if this is worth the drive for those of us coming the distance.

Re: Operation: Return Fire
If you want to think of it that way, that's fine.
But if you do, then it's 1 night game, 1 day of pickup games, another night game, camping, and half to full day of gaming. All of that, plus about half of the money goes to prizes, then some more goes to buying water. If we had enough people sign up, we'd have gotten a port-a-potty (it's too late now).
