Operation: Return Fire - Page 3 Empty CO for U.S.

Post by Dirby 27th July 2011, 3:08 pm

It seems that there are a nice number of small-medium squads showing up. Thats one step closer to being coordinated than people that dont know each other, but im sure theres room for strategic improvment still. Ill be on the U.S. squad with 3-7 people, wondering if theres a squad out there familiar with the field, people etc, that is taking active CO responsibilities. If your not a jerk, idiot, or overall unpleasant, you've got my Iron Outcasts. Let me know...

Well most of the marpat will be covered by acu tactical gear, only exception will be some of the pants. I'll most likely be by other people with u.s. bdus which will help clear the confusion, but im sure i'll be shot anyways lol

That's a great question - I must confer with the filed admins as it may have dropped to 75 feet from 100 - but it is both ways, on the official rule of this site.

Please stand by while we murmur amongst ourselves.

go with the 75 ft med as long as it shoots 500 FPS or less for DMR's and you'll be okay, just make sure you have a side arm for close engagements

See, now I think it should be 100. Allout, wanna tie break? Very Happy

Edit:

Actually - I think I see the issue. 100 it is.
That is the field rule that we all must sign off on. I copied the MED's from the previous OP and the MED's have been reevaluated since then. It is safer, and it is better to err on the side of caution, isn't it?

Operation: Return Fire - Page 3 Empty Re: Operation: Return Fire

Post by QuantumPolagnus 1st August 2011, 11:06 pm

Hey, guys. I'll be joining the party on Saturday with some friends of mine (they've hopefully already posted).

I'm kinda confused about the dress code, actually. I have a BDU in brown, black, tan and green, but I heard from a friend that it has to be a tan BDU to be allowed.

I am planning to bring a few options, but I'd like to clear that up before I get there.

Thanks

Battle dress uniforms came in several different patterns, woodland BDU's are on the green side, tan BDU's include "chocolate chip" and "tri color"

Maybe have water coolers at bases or spread about and make sure people are properly hydrated.

Water: bring as much as you can carry, and an extra for your buddy.

The truck will have a cooler with water, there is a large jug that will be at the aid station, and at least a case of water at the village and old dirt base. There may be other locations, but I know of those two at least right now. The locations will be told to everyone day-of.

Everybody should really start drinking water today 90-120 oz a day if not more, Yes we will have plenty of water on hand, but you also bring your water. Nobody should go onto the field without some type of hydration set up

Simple rule
if urine is yellow means your close to dehydration,
If urine is semi clear still drink water

Now about T.S. Emily we will just watch it

WATER SITES I PLANNED ON,
